No idea how to know if an old PCI 6052e DAQ is functional

Hello,

I found a few old 6052e PCI DAQs in the place I work at. We don't have a lab I could test them in.
I also have one SH68F-68F-EPM Cable (female to female).

I would really like to know if these are fully operational, but my only current option is to plug them via a PCIe to PCI adapter and then hopefully I'd be able to find a driver and a software that could perform self-troubleshooting/diagnostics.

I'm pretty clueless in this specific hardware world, so I would greatly appreciate your help 🙂

1. Is there a driver for this card that would work with Win11?
2. Is there a free troubleshooting/self diagnostics software that can test the card while it's only plugged to the PCI slot?

Many thanks!!!

According to Devices and Modules No Longer Supported in NI-DAQmxNI 60xxE was last supported in NI-DAQmx 19.0

According to NI Product Compatibility for Microsoft Windows 11, the first supported NI-DAQmx version is 2022 Q3.

On top of the driver compatibility, according to PCI to PCIe Adapter for NI Devices:

NI does not support the use of third party PCI to PCIe adapters, and does not sell adapters.
The use of an adapter can work in some cases, but is generally not recommended, especially with high throughput cards because the adapter may not have the throughput to support the data transfer.

If you install it on a desktop with a native PCI slot, installed with Win7 or Win10 and NI-DAQmx 19.0 or eariler, you can Performing Self-Test for NI Hardware
