NIDaqmx Base (Linux) and LV8.0

Hi,

I just ran into a problem while upgrading to LabVIEW 8.0 (Linux). USB devices are not supported in the linux-version on NIDAQmx8.0, so I still have to use the old NIDaqmx Base 1.5 drivers. Is that right?
I just can't get NIDaqmx Base 1.5 to work with LV8.0. LV7.1 works fine. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
bef

You are correct.  Currently, USB DAQ on Linux with LabVIEW 8.0 is not supported.  However, NI-DAQmx Base 2.0 for Linux will fill this gap.  Hopefully, it will be released in a matter of a few weeks.

FYI:  NI-DAQmx Base Version 2.0 for Linux has released, and with it, USB data acquisition in LabVIEW 8.0 for Linux is now fully supported.  Get it here:  Multifunction DAQ
