NI6008 in MAX

How can I view my NI6008 hardware in Max.

The DAQMX base (came with the NI6008) and DAQ 8.0 software (downloaded from NI) are both installed but in MAX when I go to "Tools" the "NI-DAQmx Configuration>>NI-DAQ USB Driver Selector" does not appear in the pull down menu.

Followed the  instructions to have the NI6008 appear in MAX (see http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/1448a8ac665ee0ea8625703f004a4410) but this did not work.

Hi Steve,

It sounds like something is wrong with the installations of one of your DAQ drivers. In order to see the USB driver selector, you must have both NI-DAQmx  and NI-DAQmx Base installed. Since you already have both drivers, I recommend repairing the installations or simply re-installing them altogether. After this, you should be able to change the driver for your USB-6008 as mentioned in the knowledgebase. I hope that you find this information helpful.
