Hi, guys
I'm using NI USB-6251 BNC for my project and this DAQ needs external power supply.
Before, i used AC adaptor from 100-240VAC input to 12V output.
However, suddenly, i need to use this daq in environment that there is no AC power.
i think i can make 12V DC(using Li battery or... anyway), but 12V dc plug in DAQ is not universal.
in here, NI 6251 Specifications - NI,
they said 'USB devices must be powered with an NI offered AC adapter or a National Electric Code (NEC) Class 2 DC source'
it looks like it can be powered directly from other DC source.
So, can i power this DAQ using other I/O like terminal screw? or do i have to cut existing DC line on backside and connect 12V battery?
