Hello, I am looking for NI-DAQmx support for linux, in particular for USB-6001.
According to the NI-DAQmx Base EOL announcement (https://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-DAQmx-Base-Developers/End-of-Life-Announcement-for-DAQmx-Base-Driver/gpm...), NI-DAQmx will begin supporting linux. However, on the downloads page for NI-DAQmx (https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-daqmx.html#333268), only windows is supported. Is there a timeframe for when linux will be supported in NI-DAQmx?
I personally am not working with linux but with QNX, but am hoping that linux support will allow me to run drivers on QNX. Is there a possibility of open-source linux drivers so I can port drivers to QNX?
Thanks.

Are you looking for NI DAQmx for Linux? I found the driver was included in Device Driver Package.
NI Linux Device Drivers (July 2019)
I guess there is no single download page on web...

NI-DAQmx is already supported on several Linux operating systems, but it is in the downloads page as "NI Linux Device Drivers" because for those it is delivered through the OS-native package feed and not as a standalone driver installer as it is on Windows. However, the USB-6001 is not presently supported in NI-DAQmx on Linux (nor was it supported in NI-DAQmx Base).
Support for QNX was only done through the Measurement Hardware Driver Development Kit, which only supported a small subset of devices (the USB-6001, again, not being one of them).

Thanks for the response. It looks like the Measurement Hardware Driver Development Kit is built to be ported to different operating systems (and already supports QNX). Unfortunately it looks like the NI DAQmx can't be ported to other systems, and neither support the device I have (USB-6001) anyway.
