I'm using an SCB-68 in conjunction with a 6224 M Series PCI card to measure a simple voltage from a DC Power Supply (I'm starting simple since this is my first time doing DAQ).
I've installed the PCI card, connected the SCB-68 and MAX seems to have visibility to my connector block. Every time I try to measure a voltage, I just get a constant reading of -5.35 volts. I've tried all three connection setups (single ended and differential), using different channels and making sure to set those switches correctly and choose the desired mode in MAX, and no matter what I do, I get -5.35 volts (both on the test screen and when I generate that automatic example measurement code).
For example, right now I am set up for a differential measurement. I have the +V side of my power supply going to AI 16 (pin 68) and the -V side of my source (tied to source ground) going to AI 24 (pin 34). This is what MAX indicates in the connector diagram tab after selecting AI 16 as the desired physical input channel. Even if I short the differential inputs together (which should give me zero volts?) I still get -5.35V. That is with Max/Min set to +/- 5V. If I switch it to +/- 10V, I get a constant reading of -10.7 V.
I tried the self test in MAX and everything passed, so I think communication is working. So, I'm officially stuck. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong. I've done a lot of LabView, but I'm new to DAQ - please help! The attached picture shows the connector diagram and test screen.
Thanks!
