Daq card 6341 not generating full 10V output

Hi

I spent some time looking into it but its too much for my p-brain!

I bought PCIe 6341 card to generate -10 to +10 V signal. Interestingly, I only get -5 to +5 volts although i have additionally set -10 to + 10 V on Daqmx create channel vi. Any thoughts?

Many thanks

What did you connect the analog output to?  What is the load impedence of your sink?  My guess is that you are trying to drive something with more current than the DAQ card can handle.  Those cards cannot put out more than a few mA, so you may need an amplifier circuit.
