DAQmx Base Task Config Utility shows no devices

Hi,  I want to use a NI-6010 board in a PowerPC Mac running MacOS 10.4.11 and have installed

various versions of NI-DAQmx Base. The DAQmx Base Task Config Utility shows no devices although Isdaq shows the board is present.  How can I configure the board?

Many thanks, Brian

Hi bjr1,

It looks like there may not be an option that supports both your operating system and your hardware.

From NI-DAQ Driver Support: PCI/PXI Devices it says NI-DAQmx Base 3.4 - Mac OS X is the first DAQmx driver to support the 6010.

However, looking at the readme files it looks like NI-DAQmx Base 3.3 - Mac OS X was the last DAQmx driver to support Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) on Intel or PowerPC (10.4.8 or later).

If you can upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) on Intel then I'd recommend DAQmx Base 3.4.

Hope this helps,

Rebecca
