Is it completely unreasonable to try to find a PCMCIA card adapter to use my very old but still functioning DAQCard-700 on my newest Windows 10 laptop? The idea is to use the legacy NIDAQ693 driver, a PCMCIA-to USB adapter (there are some on Amazon and newegg for $18-$25) and and an equally old but convenient Measure for Excel to record some fast -10V to +10V input signals. I've recently retired, so I have some time to fiddle around with such setups, but I don't want to waste my time if it's not doable due to some fundamental HW or SW incompatibilities...
