seasoned user of 1427 frame grabber. Using a new CL camera that is 1280x720 resolution. Manufacturer says it has a front porch of 140, Hsync pulse of 40 and back porch of 220 and Vsync of 25. They are still trying to answer my question if Dval is asserted during the sync, front and back porches. I have tried 1280x720 in case Dval is not asserted and 1680x 745 in case it is, and small sizes like 320x240 all I get are time outs. I tried using the camera file generator and all the different permutations it allows ( taps, Dval high, low, or ignore, timing synchronized, etc). It feels like some timing problem that NI cant adjust for. We have a matrox FG that allows the sync and front and back porches to be entered individually, and the matrox FG works. I have never had so much difficulty getting an image out of a camera and NI FG, any suggestions????
