Text, Hypertrends and Citadel

Is there a way to log the value of a text field. I want to enter a name at the beginning of a cycle and be able to use that value on a hypertrend chart. I want to be able to use the text value to title a hypertrend such that historical data displays the title entered when the data was recorded.

Any suggestions?

Text can be logged but must be accessed using SQL statements.

Am I to understand that I could log a text field and use it to title a hypertrend such that the title changes as historical data is viewed?

It may be better to use an XY Chart and pull the data based on a specified date range.  Hypertrend im not sure how to pull the date range currently viewed.
