Highlited "active" cell in a table set as indicator

Hi all.

In my application I use two tables as display only. I setup the table as indicator and the cells as indicator too, but when I run the application I note a small box surrounding the "active" cell (that is, the cell that is the active one if I turn the table in normal mode).

Please take a look at the screenshot attached.

How I can avoid this?

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

Hello,

This issue has been previously filed with our R&D department and they looking into alleviating this behavior in a future release of LabWindows/CVI.

Meanwhile, a workaround is documented in the following KnowledgeBase: How Do I Disable Automatic Table Cell Highlighting in CVI?.

A summary of the workaround is: "Since the table is an indicator, it doesn't really matter which is the active cell. If there is a manageable number of row or columns such that you have no need for a scrollbar in at least one of the directions, you could add an empty row (or column) just outside of view, and make one of the cells in that row (or column) be the active cell. If you also hide the corresponding scroll bar, then the user will never know about this empty row, and so you can "hide" the active cell."

Hope that helps.
