A control that passes events through ?

Hello all,
I was wondering if it is possible to display a control on top of another so
that the bottom control receives the mouse events and not the top one.

Directly, it's not possible, but maybe there's a way for the top control to
transmit the even to the underlying one(s)...?

I was thinking of a transparent canvas on top of the whole panel where to
draw additional info, but which wouldn't interfere with the normal behavior
of the panel. Any idea ?

Canvas does not provide all sort of events, so your approach may be limited... For example, EVENT_DROP is available for trees and tabs, but not for canvas...There are many other examples of events that you would miss
