usb 6001 digital input

Hi,

I have two question.

1. is it possible to have the usb 6001 continuously acquire a digital input? If so how? so far I managed only on demand one sample acquisition.

2. If continuous DI is possible, how can I synchronize it with an AI?

Hi Edith,

1. No. It only supports software timing (aka "one sample on demand"). See here, page 21.

2. The device itself only supports a start trigger over the PFI line(s)…

Conclusion: you should choose your DAQhardware by your requirements and not adjust requirements later because of limited hardware capabilities…
