How do I open the front panel editor?
Typically, the front panel opens in edit mode. If not, the VI is set to "run when opened".
(If the VI cannot be switched to edit mode try the following: Open it from within a project or place it on the diagram of en empty VI, then open from there.)
Please try to explain in a few more words what you are trying to do. You post so far is way too ambiguous!
I just got the LabVIEW eval package yesterday. I want to learn to use it.
I need to design a module to test a stepper motor. I am trying to create a module from scratch.
I have been able to create the project but cannot open the Front Panel Editor.
I have opened the sample modules that LabVIEW created when I created the project.
I am a skilled VC++ programmer. I noemally catch on to these thing pretty quick.
Are you trying to create a new VI? In which case go to the File menu and pick New VI.
