Hi,

unfortunately I can't help with vi's for PIC , but find attached some ideas of what we did for ATMEL AVR- maybe this can give some hints/inspiration, how to deal with a µC and LabVIEW.
For some projects in our group it is helpful to send
Data via serial Port and an AVR as "booster" to an ASIC. The AVR contains a small Interpreter, that handles all incoming Commands an Data. In this way you can force the Processor to operate in different I/O-Pin configuration etc. Find attached a .pdf - file which describes shortly some implemented functions .... there is "open space" to add a lot more...... ; but I don't want to invent the wheels again - it should only be a small helpful tool.

HI z

are you using a newsreader or the webinterface.

I use the webinterface and the link is working.

The link itself is enclosed in the two " and starts with "http" and ends with "General". All the other characters of your example are not part of the link.

Hi,

you are not showing any diagrams of your implementation. what do you mean when you saying that AVR acts as a booster? how is the communication between AVR and LabVIEW can be established? (.dll? VISA? other serial vi's?). what do you mean when saying that you don't want to invent the wheels again? - I've never seen such an implementation before. or I am wrong?

my best regards,

Valery
