how to program FPGA for NI 9503 SMD module

I have to run a stepper motor using NI 9503 stepper drive module in cRIO-9063. I've tried in ON/OFF signal to the two phases (A,B). In this method I can run the motor in one direction but I can't able to change the direction of the motor. Please help me to sort out this problem.

Have you installed NI softmotion?

You will require it for advanced motion control. You cannot entirely control with FPGA.
