how to look at program that is running with no borders or menus

this vi was sent on cd from another place with almost no instructions now i get errors after computer problems it is almost impossible to troubleshoot  because i don't know how to bring up the menu or the makeup of the program.

Try this: Create a new VI. Place the VI in question in the block diagram of this new VI as a subVI, and then double-click on the subVI. This will usually allow you to open VIs that are setup to hide everything because they're apparently too shy.
