convert VI from old version to new version of Labview

Hi,

I have a huge VI that was created on version 6 on an old PC with Windows 95, and I'm required to transfer this to a new machine with LABVIEW 8.6 or similar running on XP. Could someone guide me through the process of transfering the code please. Alternatively it would be useful if someone can give me a link to a webpage which shows how to do the same. If required I can post the VI on this message.
