communicate with melsec plc using labview...

Hi all,

          i need to communicate with mitsubishi plc (melsec Fx2N series).. i dont have idea about plc communication... if anybody knows about that please guide me to do that.... thanks in advance.

Hi Kalanga,

You've teo options:

1. If your PLC can communicate with modbus. LabVIEW has a modbus library that you can download and use it freely, http://sine.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4756.

2. You can use NI OPC Server, http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6417, and LabVIEW DSC Module, http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/1010, to connect to FX2N. Please refer to http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7450 for a step-by-step on connecting to a PLC using OPC and DSC.
