cannot maximize or restore VI after minimize

After I minimize my VI, I cannot maximize or restore the VI.  I would have to right click on LabVIEW on the task bar and "Show Windows Stacked" or "Show Windows Side by Side" to view the VI again.  This is fustrating because I always have to resize my VI.  Anyone know why?  I have version 8.5.

The VI is not programmed to be maximized or minimized (it's not intended to be).  When I manually minimize the VI, I cannot restore or maximize the VI by clicking it on the taskbar or selecting maximize from the right-click menu on the taskbar.  I have to use the task bar to restore my VI as described in the first message.

Please post your VI so we can see if anything about the way you coded it could explain your problem.
