blink color

There are a few discussions about the blinking color of a boolean. In the VI are two controls. The left one is from a previous discussion.
Why are the blink colors NOT the same?

Hi

Post it as LV 7.0 - I can't open LV7.1 and would like to have a look at it.

Wow - that looks strange.

I'm sorry - but I can't answer your question. But I'm sure there are others in here, who know why it is like that.

By the way - if I need blinking indicators, I'll do it on my own. I set the color-property and it works great. I think the big advantage is the possibility to let it blink in every color available and to be able to change the color whenever I want.

It seems that the graphics of the DSC boolean controls are the "background" of the control and are therefore affected by the background blink setting. If you want, disable "use defaults" and change the color of the background blink to yellow. This will affect any other controls whose background is visible.
