Unable to simulate NI 9247

I am trying to simulate NI 9247 in NI MAX however the module is not present in the list. I have created a Labview project and added a Crio-9053 chasis to it (Note: I do not have the hardware available with me), however I am able to add my other C-series modules to the Project but I unable to add NI 9247. What could be the issue?

Is there a chance you're using an older version of DAQmx that came out before that module existed?

(I don't know when that module was released... it's just the first thing that occurred to me as a possible issue...)

Sounds possible. NI-9247 was first supported in NI-DAQmx 19.1
