Strange behaviour of a tab control

For some reason, it is no longer possible to edit the names and the font of the tabs of Tab Control 1 directly through the FP. I didn't notice when this behaviour appeared but I may have changed some "advanced" properties. Unfortunately, all my trials to make the tab names editable again remained unsuccessful.

As you can see in the example, everything works fine when using a new tab control. An easy solution would be to replace the tab control but I would really like to know why Tab Control 1 behaves like this.

Any help is much appreciated.

Can you confirm that the particular tab was present among other grouped FP things, all of those were deleted manually thro' the BD, without ungrouping them in the FP?

Just an insight, bcos a few days back I was playing with grouped multicolumn listboxes, where I cant edit its properties like row headers n column headers in the FP.

It could be that I grouped temporarily some elements of the FP to align them. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly. But I'm almost sure that I didn't delete grouped elements through the BD.
