Separated Compiled Code

I have a subVI that won't load from the runtime engine because the compiled code has been separated from the VI.  So far I have been unable, to get compiled code back into the VI.

I have tried:

• Setting property "Contains Compiled Code" to true
• Setting tag "NI.LV.All.SourceOnly" to false
• Deleting tag "NI.LV.All.SourceOnly"
• Deleting all tags
• Deleting the VI Object Cache
• Forcing recompile of the VI

All to no avail.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oops.  Sorry for the brain fart.

The VI whose properties I was messing with was in one location, and the one I was trying to load dynamically was a copy in another location.

It seems that if you edit a file in one place on disk, copies of it elsewhere don't get magically updated.
