Searching files at different path???
Hi,
I have noticed this behaviour a long time ago but today it got so annoying that I've decided to come here for advice.
The problem is that however the Show Diagram.vi DOES exist at the path at the top labview - for whatever reason - starts looking for it at different locations. Even if I add this folder to the top of search paths in the options menu, it still crawls thru tons of folders. But why?
(The file in this example is the part of a library file. If I open the lib on its own then it loads instantly and it only calls files within its own folder.)
Any help would be appreciated!
I've had that happen to me too. It seems it somehow doesn't check the 1st path as expected. Mass compile should updates paths, but as to the reason why, i'd also like to learn.
