Saving final data of waveform chart to excel report

I am ploting temperature variation with time on a waveform chart. How can I save the final waveform data to a ms excel report

Why not just use an invoke node, like so?

I have tried that but that just exports it to excel file i want to save it in a formatted template

I'm going to need more information than that to go beyond the basics. If you're talking about simply inserting the data in the appropriate place in another excel sheet, the general idea would be to use the read/write spreadsheet VIs to pull out, parse headers, and insert your waveform data.
