NI LW/CVI 8.1 run time engine problem

Hi!

After I installed LV8.2 and DAQmx8.6 in a new winxpsp2 PC, ni488225.exe (2.5 version) was installed to drive a PCMCIA gpib card. Then a problem appeared every time when I started Labview: "Please wait while windows configures Labwindow/cvi 8.1 run-time engine", and after a moment, one more window pop-up: "restart windows...to take effect or no to mannul restart later". After restart, the configure window problem still exist.

How to handle this problem? Thanks a lot!

I have the same problem. message i get: you must restart your system for the configuration changes mado to NI labWindows/cvi 8.1 Run-time engine to take effect. Click yes to restart now or no if you plan to restart later.

Eventhough i restart, i still get this message everytime i start labview... anyone who can help pleas?
