Labview Web Services & Web UI Builder - Instrument I/O Assistant

Hi,

I'm new to the web services and the web UI builder as I used to work with the remote panels.

What I would like to do is to write a program in web UI builder that controls some stepper motors by sending comands through the Instrument I/O Assistant using the web services.

Is that feasible?

The examples of web services such as the 'Sum' included on the 'Web Services in LabView' work correctly. When I try to generate a web service with a vi having inside the Instrument I/O Assistant basically nothing happens.

The description of the web services includes the statements 'remote control of an embedded device' and 'invocation of a method on a remote target'. Is that my case or am I completely out of the track?
