Labview 2009 with VxmLV8, the system freezes consistently, 8 mins after restarting the program

Hello all,

 We're using Labview 2009 to control a Velmex Vxm stepper motor. The driver we're using is: VxmLV8.vi
 

we are suffering this problem (copied):

The crash is more of a "system-hang" / " labview or Vxm motor timing out" sort of thing...I feel as if the input buffer into the Vxm stepper motor is waiting for more characters of data, then Labview simply stops responding. It's like the driver VxmDriverLV7_1.vi locks up...We don't get an error, the system just "freezes" or "stops responding". The system crash is consistent.

Could you provide the following information:

1. Attach VxmLV8.vi
2. Attach the code you are using to communicate with the device.
3. You mentioned two different versions of the Velmex driver in your post: VxmLV8.vi and VxmDriverLV7_1.vi. Can you clarify on which you are actually using?
4. Did this ever work before? If so, what has changed?
5. Where did you receive these drivers from?

If the motor is timing out, you should make sure that all your external wiring and connections are secure.
