LabView Serial Port Output

I have two value X and Y which can be either positive or negative. I
need to output these two values through serial port. I'm new to
Labview and I've looked at the examples but I'm not sure how to put
them all together. My project is due in three days and I need urgent
help with this. e-mail me pjokcy@yahoo.com or im me at AIM
(EnforcerPJ).

Thanks,
PJ

I would need more details of what you want to do.

But here is a quick example for you. It should get you up & running. Otherwise, please give me more details. You should have no problems getting the serial comm part done in no time.

See attached example:

PJ,

Along with the example provided by JLV, take a look at the examples provided below.

Serial Communication for LabVIEW 6.1
This library has many different examples of how to do serial communication. You will probably not need anything more than the basic communication but the rest is there if you want it.

Loopback Test for Serial Port
This is a great way to test your communication without having to connect to the device you are writing to.

Please include more detai
ls on the communication required if more help is needed.
