Is NFS available for sbRIO/cRIO?

Hello,

 

 AlthoughVxWorks 6.3 includes NFS possibilities, I could not issue any related commandin its shell on sbRIO board. Does it contain a restricted version of VxWorks? Is there other restrictions? There is no info about that from NI.

can you further specify what you mean by NFS? Do you mean Network File System (NFS)?

The VxWorks kernel we use in LabVIEW Real-Time does not yet support NFS or CIFS network filesystem support.

You can use TCP/IP or other protocols to stream data or ftp for file sharing.

Hello

Is there any plan to support NFS in the near future. I read some article about "Big Physics" in America where they used this feature with a custom BSP on a cRIO system.

It would be very helpful to use sbRIO/cRIO standalone. The measurement data should be written without any host into a file on a file server.
