How to handle an internal error!

Hello there,

I wanted to test the pinconfiguration of a 9 pin connector using LabView. The
technical support of National Instruments send me a solution called
"serial line control". But I can't run it, the following failures pop:

Function not supported - Vi "serial line control.vi" was stopped at knot
0x1BC of the SubVi "Out Port.vi" and
failure: "exec.cpp", line 2486 (please exuse the bad translation, but I've got the german version of LabView 6.0)

I already consulted the National Instruments homepage, but it didn't helped me. Maybe you can.
Here some Information, that can be interesting for you: I use the LabView
version 6.0 under Windows NT,
I've already updated it to verion 6.0.2 (as the technical support suggested - but wit
hout success (relating to my problem)), I've
wanted to test it under Linux to, but the LabView version 6.0 under Linux
doesn't have the SubVi "Out Port.vi" and "In Port.vi".

Thankfull for any help,

Ruth.
