How to get frequency at Max amplitude

I m acquiring a waveform from the DAC which as a maximum amplitude at a some frequency. I want to use that frequency at which the max amplitude is seen  for further processing. Now how can I detect the frequency at maximum amplitude ?

Try the Waveform Peak Detection.vi under programming>>waveform>>analog waveform>>waveform measurements>>waveform monitoring.

Hope this helps.

Hi micro,

your post is not fully clear to me...

It seems you need some FFT operation to get the max frequency peak.

Otherwise it makes no sense to ask for a frequency at a certain amplitude peak...

You could try the Extract Single Tone Information vi (or the Extract Multiple Tone Information vi) in the waveform measurements palette.  The single tone version will find the frequency with the highest amplitude.
