Solved!
Go to solution

Hi ,guys!  I am freshman to labview. I meet a trouble, and need your  help.

In my  DAQmx data acquisition system , I need acquire data from two channels at the same time .And one  of the channels need  IEPE ,another one  not. You can open the  example by  the following path : C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2014\vi.lib\addons\Sound and Vibration\Example Support\DAQ\DAQmx\Frequency Analysis\Dual Channel Analysis\Baseband FRF (DAQmx AI and AO).vi . In the  example , you have  to configure  both  of them to be IEPE stage or not . There is no more information that I can search .And I have no idea  to solve this problem .

Thanks in advance
regards

Please uss the property node method and Active channel input according to your requirements: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/D2D5A38279AA1431862576F20061DEEF

-The context help clearly mentions if you need customize configuration per channel, use DAQmx API.

-Don't create duplicate posts instead stick to single post: forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/DAQmx-data-acquisition/td-p/3326805

Thanks

First ,thank  you very much . It's first time for me to ask for help ,and made some mistake ,I am sorry.

I still have a problem that how do I make both channels can  be selected to be IEPE  or not.  If  I use the methods you provided just  now ,I have to separate the channels ,and  have to combine two channels after configure the channels, I have tried many times ,but  faild  . I  want to  make a switch that could allow users to determine  every channel to be IEPE or not .

Thanks for your any help .

Regards .

What you tried post the update.

-You can list down all channels by using the steps in http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/CC501982F91AFA548625735D00547AC2

-You might find the info and links in this forum: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Setting-up-IEPE-settings-DAQ-MX-task-for-multiple-channels/td-p/1728...

Thanks for your reply , udka.

I get much help from your suggestion and link. Frankly ,I  am not so familiar with the process about DAQmx data acquisition.  My card  is NI9234.

The following picture is my new program , an error would occur when you  start running  it. I thought a lot of possible reasons to correct it  ,but didn't  work . Can you find something wrong in my program ?

Thank you for your enthusiastic help.

mittly.
