Help with adding sample time points to waveform chart

Hi,

I am saving my data using the save to text function. I would like to be able to add a column to my file that can add sample number information.  This would be something the user would write in the front panel and would be added at the time the user inputted it.

What has adding samples to a chart have do to with writing to a file? What have you tried?

We can give specific advice once we see your code (VI, not a picture).

Here is my code.  I haven't really tried anything besides creating a "Sample" Control that is wired to the array I am making into a text file.  I couldn't find any examples of this on the Google.  I think it is likely because of the way I am asking.  

A note I am very new to Labview and have used examples to piece together what I am trying to do.
