Hi Kabo,

For future reference please post your questions in the High Speed Digitizers forum.

The PCI 5105 only measures voltage but you can use a shunt resistor to turn current into a voltage and then measure it on your 5105. This is not a very effective way of measuring your current as the resistor's value can have some serious effects on the impedence matching on your system and can throw off your measurements (especially those in AC). I would recommend you use a PCI-4065 Digital Multimeter instead. This natively measures current and voltage upto 6 1/2 digits of accuracy.

Hope this helps!

Abhinav,

Thanks for the reply. Just a follow up question somebody told that I can also used the PCI 5105 for current measurement

just only use current probe.

Any comment on this.

Regards,

Gilbert
