Hitechnic color sensor passive mode
Does anyone here have experience using the HiTechnic color sensor in passive mode (LED off)? I am able to turn the LED off using an I2C command. However, the raw green readings are always 0 (or close to 0) in this mode. The raw red and raw blue readings are fine. The RGB readings are fine in active mode (LED on).
Nevermind, found something that works. LabVIEW NXT toolkit has a VI to read the sensor in passive mode. Works fine for RGB values. The VI in the original post was reverse engineered from the example on HiTechnic downloads page.
