I am attempting to "Choose NXT" in LVLM 2010 with the FTC Toolkit already installed. I have a USB cable running from my host computer to my NXT brick. My NXT brick is on. When I click on the pulldown arrow, my only choices are "NXT Target: Unspecified" or "Find NXT..."
A little background: On this same computer, when I had LVLM 2010 installed WITHOUT the FTC Toolkit, I was able to connect to the NXT fine via the USB cable. Since installing the FTC Toolkit I have not been able to connect to the NXT at all.
FYI, I have LVLM 2010 installed on another computer (without the FTC Toolkit installed) and I am able to connect through the USB cable to my NXT without a problem.
We have our competition in just over a month. Please help!
