VL53L0X Time-of-Flight (ToF) Laser Ranging Sensor

I want to use the VL53L0X to measure the distance from an object. I've researched and saw you can include the built in API in labview to use functions which are already created, this is done by using a DLL.

how do I connected it using I2C? I'm using a myRIO. Should i used the express I2C function in labview and then connect it to the call library function? Really not sure how this works.

Im with the same issue and I tried a simple code, but I couldn't get the distance value.
