Hi,
The fp and sub files for NIDMM are not available for 64 bit application (Windows7). These files would typically be available at C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\niDMM. I do see that the binary is available for the 64 bit applications.
The fp and sub files for NIDMM are available for 32 bit application at C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\niDMM.
Thanks

Hi Shreenath,
What version of the NI-DMM driver do you have installed? Was the driver installed after your development environment? Do you have both a 32-bit and 64-bit development software installed on the system? It could be a case such that you have to select to include the support for the 64-bit option.

Hi Jake,
I have version 3.06 installed. When I re-installed NIDMM it seems to be installing the fp and sub files only for 32 bit application none for 64 bit application. In the installer itself I see options to install/uninstall labview examples for 32 bit or 64 bit applications but do not see any option for the fp and sub files.
Thanks

Shreenath,
In the installation make sure to include LabVIEW 64-bit support and LabWindows/CVI support. I installed the NI-DMM driver on a Windows 7 64-bit system with only those items included in the installation and have the fp/sub files in the expected directory.

Hi Jake,
This still does not work for me. I have selected all the options in the installer and I still do not see the fp ans sub files at C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\niDMM. The fb and sub file for 32 bit system is available at C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\niDMM.
The same is true for NI-DCPower as well but NI-Fgen and NI-SCope work correctly.
Thanks

Shreenath,
My apologies, I believe my previous findings were actually on a 32-bit system. I have tried this on a Windows 64-bit system and received the same results that you did. The readme file for the NI-DMM driver specifically states that there should be a nidmm.fp file in the directory you mentioned, all other files mentioned in the 'Installed File Names and Locations' appear in their respective directories. I have made an inquiry to our R&D department and will post back with relevant information when I receive a response.
