I am doing some GPIB related work. in visual basic 6.0, I just send out a command to the signal generator via gpib to control the parameters of the generator.

I checked the examples listed in the NI 488.2. but some frms doesnt work, some even no workding for me.

would you please provide me a example in VB 6.0 which can communicated with the gpib device?

or would you tell me the exact function name which is used to write a command to the device?

Hi

You need to give more details about the specific function generator.
GPIB is the transportchannel, the commands and exact syntax are defined by the instrument at the other side of the transport channel.
