Hello DadMomSon
I already found you link NI Linux Device Drivers 2021 Q3 Readme - National Instruments and installed the NI instrument drivers on Ubuntu 20.04.
I could not find the NIvisaic command which was present in earlier versions and which we used a lot to test new instruments in the past.
Is this tool not available anymore in 2021 Q3 or didn't I install the required package?
Regards,
Albert

Hello Albert,
I tried to find articles about the NIvisaic command for the Linux driver package.
It seems that that command is not supported for the 2021 Q3 version driver.
Archived: Troubleshooting Serial Communication in Linux - National Instruments
This is one of the articles and it contains this message at the beginning
"National Instruments does not actively maintain this document.
This content provides support for older products and technology, so you may notice outdated links or obsolete information about operating systems or other relevant products."

Hello DadMomSon,
Thanks for the info.
Is there another tool replacing NIvisaic, available on 2021 Q3?
