I have a NCD DMF5003 LCD Display that communicates in ASCII. I am curious to know how to use VISA/SERIAL to do so, so I can send it text.

I can program the DMF5003 with no problem in VB6. I need to know the equivilent of CHR$(xxx) for LabVIEW 6i. I am dead in the water and any help will be greatly appreciated!

There is an example on our web site that converts Decimal/Hexidecimal to its ASCII Character. You can find with the following path (I also attached them):
ni.com>>Technical Support>>Advanced Search...Check the Example Programs box and search for "decimal convert ascii"
