Glitch measuring using LabVIEW 7.1 and TDS540 oscilloscope

Hi everybody. Could someone give a tip to perform the measurament of a glitch? What I'm doing is setting the edge trigger mode to some voltage level (programmatically), I'm also setting the channel using Conf Channel VI for working at an specific bandwith, coupling, etc.... then, I send a message to the user prompting him to produce the glitch, then I use Read Meas VI...I always read nothing... I don't know, can someone tell me what should I do? Maybe some settings, a different VI. The test procedure indicates to use (when performing the test manually) single sequence trigger mode, and I can't find a driver VI to set this.....any clue?

maybe you can instruct your user to press a key when the scope has finished the measurement (trigger occurred)
Otherwise you maybe start the timout much too early.

I'm a little confused by your post. Are you asking how to give the user a message a message prompt or how to setup to scope to capture a trigger?
