GPIB IN DEV MNGR BUT NOT IN NI488-2 TBLSH WIZ

I have installed a new gpib-usb-hs on my laptop.  Device manager sees the device. NI-488-2 Troubleshooting wizard does not,

and fails the GPIB hardware presence verified test.  How do I remedy this?

What does the device show up as in device manager? Are you able to see the device in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) under "Devices and Interfaces"? Also, what version of the NI-488.2 driver do you have installed? I'll recommend installing the latest version (2.4), which you can find here, to see if it helps. If you already have version 2.4 installed, then you might have a bad installation, and I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling. Hope this helps!

Removing the old driver and reinstalling it cured the problem.  Thanks.
