Frequency measurement with FlexLogger

Hello,

Is it possible to measure the frequency or speed of a fan with a digital input card? I use a laser sensor that gives a positive pulse when the target passes. For this I have a DAQ 9185 and a DI card 9421. With the internal counter I can measure the pulses. But how can I calculate the frequency?

same question here. Simple (one counter) Frequency measurement needed on Counter X via NI9401 PFI X 

Hardware: cDAQ-9185 with 2 x NI9401

Software: FlexLogger: 2022 Q4

There seems to be no channel configuration for frequency measurement within FL. Just Position (way, angle), impuls and "individual" are shown in the channel config dialog.

Simple way gone - LabVIEW ahead ... very bad 😉
