Problem after FP-1601 Reset

We just received a new FP-1601 module.  I connected it to our other FieldPoint modules (CTR-502, TC-120, AIO-610) and the computer via a crossover cable, turned the power on and the lights of all modules lit up as expected.  However, no IP address showed up in MAX (not even 0.0.0.0) even after refreshing.

Thus, I reset the FP-1601 module, per the reset instructions in the manual, in hopes of being able to detect it in MAX. But to my dismay, resetting the module only left the status light blinking (about once/sec) and no IP address in MAX.

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Do you happen to have multiple network cards (wired or wireless) in your computer?

Found the document that refers to why I asked if you have multiple cards.

This situation threw me a curve ball for a day spent trying to figure it out.

Thanks for the article!  Apparently our module bank was not connected to the computer's default network card; changing that, combined with reinstalling LabVIEW and MAX, seemed to help and get everything back up and running.

Thanks again!
