GSM Data Transfer with FieldPoint

Hi all

I've been trying to transfer files with logged data in simple txt-files from a FieldPoint cFP-21xx controller through a GSM radio modem (Siemens TC-35i) connected to the serial interface... However those modem file transfer vi's available on ni.com (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/4B5DC1F4481A33F286256B4A007D0216) are not working reliable... There are timeouts, problems with initializing the serial port etc. etc.

Does anyone have send/receive-vi's that do the job? The idea is, to download one file a day...

Those VIs never worked for me either...

Try Xmodem protocol, i succesfully used it with FP and GSM:
