After the little maintenance event my floated boards are now presented in reverse order. Very discombobulating....
Also discombobulating that I can say discombobulating but not *****..... Even after maintenance.
What is *****ed out is the language spoken in China.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I agree that it's very annoying, and I have to say Lithium has a pretty poor track record with this:
At first, you could set the order yourself (well, sort of. It would change it a bit).
Then, we lost that ability and the board order was fixed (first complaint, but there are others, such as this).
Now, the annoying order I sort of got used to was just reversed to become more annoying.
Jordan, please remind Lithium of what appears in the second link - we used to be able to set the order on our own and that's still the best solution.
Also, this might be a good time to remind of another floating-related issue.
And this one - http://forums.ni.com/t5/Feedback-on-NI-Discussion-Forums/Main-forums-page-title/td-p/2947380/jump-to...

Is somebody looking into this?
On my laptop, I currently need to scroll to even see the pinned LabVIEW board. Tedious!

I want my custom board order back!
Please.... with sugar on the top!!

So after staring at this annoying order for a couple of weeks I decided to do a little test and to see what happens if I unfloat and refloat a board. Turns out that we finally got back the ability to determine the board order on our own. That warrants the very happy cat icon: . The board you float last is the one which is topmost, which I'm guessing is the reason that the board order got reversed when this was implemented.
Now I just have to decide what order I actually want for the boards. I haven't had the option in so long that I don't even know if I actually want the LV board on top or not.

This is not a solution. Having to unfloat everything just to change to order of two floated boards is ridiculous. I have 16 boards floated and I don't want to unfloat all, carefully write down the desired float order with paper and pencil, then find all the desired boards again, then re-float them while making sure that I don't make a mistake.
I am sure there will be another new board that I want to float in the future, but I probably don't want it to be topmost.

Well, I opened each board in a tap, unfloat, sort the taps in my order, float them again...... works once or twice ... reminds me to the cluster order .... yeah, in both cases I would prefer a list I could order with drag&drop and/or by moveup and down bottons....
Ah remember the old times of NNTP readers... you seperate information and presentation, and everyone could be happy to read and see it in a personal pref. style.
